During this session, participants will explore and learn ways to incorporate the attributes of a coach into collegial conversations and instructional planning. Topics will include planning for and leading effective meetings or professional learning sessions, verbal and nonverbal communication, problem solving, and facilitation. Additionally, participants will learn how peer coaching can (1) build capacity among grade- or department-level teachers and (2) serve as a means for continuous teacher development to impact student learning.
