Cheryl DeLacretaz is the editor for the Academic Foundation Initiatives at IPSI. She taught all levels of high school English for 30 years, and for 20 of those years, she presented at local and state Advanced Placement conferences. Cheryl twice received the College Board’s special recognition award for the southwestern region of the U.S. and was named one of the top teachers in Texas by the Texas Exes, the alumni association at The University of Texas at Austin. After teaching and before becoming an editor, Cheryl wrote online student lessons and teacher training courses for IPSI. She has a bachelor’s degree in education with a major in English from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
