Joanna Oliver is a senior field trainer analyst for the Texas Literacy Initiative. She provides support and professional development to public school districts across the state and their associated early childhood education providers. Joanna has a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary education with an emphasis in reading, a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in digital learning, and principal certification from Abilene Christian University. She began her career as an elementary public school teacher, transitioning into a literacy coach and then a reading technical assistant for the Texas Reading First Initiative. Joanna also brings experience from Region 6 Education Service Center as a literacy specialist and a technology integration specialist, as well as her time as a learning assistant at Texas A&M University.
