Kristyne Blackburn

GEAR UP Match and Contracts Analyst


Kristyne serves as the financial analyst for IPSI’s To College and Beyond GEAR UP grant.  She has a wealth of experience in grant management, banking, customer relations, and finance. After 22 years in banking, including 17 years working exclusively with mortgage lending, Kristyne made a career shift to join The University of Texas working with the Child and Family Research Partnership located at the UT LBJ School as a senior program coordinator leading finance, budgeting, planning, human resources, and sponsored account management for various grants and programs.  Kristyne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of the Incarnate Word and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance from TAMU Corpus Christi.  She is grateful to be working at IPSI with co-workers who share her passion for helping our community, especially the next generation, achieve their dreams.
