The Institute for Public School Initiatives (IPSI) is a center within The University of Texas at Austin's College of Education. In support of the mission of the College and University, we commit resources and services to preparing students to achieve their academic potential; helping students and families increase their college awareness, readiness, and success; and providing educators and leadership with high-quality professional learning by designing and facilitating rigorous, engaging professional development content.

Through strategic partnerships with federal and state agencies, education service centers, local education agencies and schools, non-profit organizations, and other institutions of higher education, IPSI helps to advance the College’s three strategic impact areas: Advancing equity and eliminating disparities in education and health, attending to place and context, and thriving through transitions.
